If you are ever wondering where to show an out-of-towner a nice place with great drinks and hot dogs check out: PDT (Please Don't Tell) in the East Village. They have some pretty amazing cocktails done by mixologist Jim Meehan and hotdogs by Wiley Dufrain and David Chang. Also, you have to enter via a telephone booth, so there is that.
