We can learn from history

The effortlessly utilitarian uniform of the Italian octogenarian circa 1961: lived-in hand-tailored linen jacket and high-waisted trousers, impeccably-deployed braces, jaunty chapeau, thousand yard stare, and a gut that never suffered through a "maintenance meal".

Or you could opt for the rakish banker persona, but don't overlook subtle details like a strategically imprecise tie/collar alignment and bumbershoot-as-surrogate monocle.
